Can I get just one custom shirt printed?
Yes. DTG (direct-to-garment) printing has no minimum, so a single shirt is a normal order: the print runs $20.00 on a light garment and $25.00 on a dark one at one piece, with no setup fee, plus the blank shirt. On a Bella+Canvas 3001 jersey tee, one light shirt with a front print works out to roughly $27.19 before tax. Screen printing (36 pieces per design) and embroidery (24 pieces) are the methods with a minimum, because both build something before the first piece is made.

Why DTG can print one shirt
DTG works like an inkjet printer for fabric. The design goes from the file straight onto the shirt, so there are no screens to burn, no film, no press to register and no stitch file. With nothing to set up, there is nothing to spread across a run, and one shirt is as practical as one hundred.
It also prints full color for the same price as one color, which makes it the natural method for photos, gradients and detailed artwork on a single piece.
What one shirt costs against a dozen
A single print carries the most handling per piece, so the per-shirt price is highest at one and drops as the count rises: $20.00 at one piece against $15.00 at 12 on a light garment. If you might want a few more for family, a team or gifts, price them together on the same order.
Light shirts, dark shirts, and the blank
On a white or light shirt the inks go straight onto the fabric. On a dark shirt the garment is pretreated and a white underbase is printed first so the colors read, which is why a dark shirt costs more to print. DTG prints best on 100% cotton; a ring-spun cotton tee like the Bella+Canvas 3001 or a heavyweight cotton tee gives the cleanest result, while polyester blends print more muted.
How to order one shirt
- Open the calculator, choose DTG, pick the blank and size, and set the quantity to one. The price shows before you enter an email.
- Upload your artwork: a high-resolution PNG (transparent background is fine) or a vector file. Screenshots and images saved off social media usually print soft.
- Approve the proof. Free digital proof on every order; production starts only after your written approval.
