How It Is Priced
Stitch Count and Digitizing, Explained
Stitch count
Embroidery is priced by the number of stitches in your logo, because stitches are machine time and thread. The base price covers up to 5,000 stitches, which fits many simple company logos; stitches past that are billed per thousand. Large fill areas push the count up, so simplifying a logo is the easiest way to lower the price. We tell you the stitch count on your quote.
Digitizing
Before anything is sewn, your artwork is converted into a stitch file that maps every stitch, its type, density and color order. That is the one-time digitizing fee ($45.00 per design). Vector artwork (AI, EPS, SVG or PDF) gives the cleanest result; a high-resolution PNG can work. If you already have a .DST stitch file from a previous embroiderer, send it.

A hat front is small and curved, so very thin lines and small text may need to be simplified or enlarged. Text should be at least about 0.25" tall to read clearly in thread. Side and back placements on hats, and sleeve or back placements on polos and jackets, are priced as their own location.

We keep your artwork and stitch files on file, so reorders are quick and match the first run exactly. For embroidery that means the second order of the same logo carries no digitizing charge, which suits uniform programs that add new hires through the year.
Pickup, delivery and shipping
Free pickup at 14130 Rosecrans Ave, Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670. Mon-Fri 8am-4pm PT. Local delivery is available for a fee (added to the estimate), or orders ship by UPS or FedEx anywhere in the US. Standard turnaround is about 2-3 weeks after art approval.
