It depends on the print method, quantity, and garment. Decoration alone runs about $2.34 to $8.87 per piece for a 2-color screen print (500 pieces down to the 36-piece minimum), and about $5.00 to $15.00 per piece for full-color DTG. On top of that you pay for the blank garment, which we bill at wholesale x 1.75; the calculator prices the exact blank you pick from live wholesale catalogs. Minimums depend on the method. Screen printing starts at 36 pieces per design, embroidery at 24 pieces per design, DTF transfers at 12 pieces, and heat-transfer vinyl at 6 pieces. DTG (direct-to-garment) has no minimum - we can print a single piece. If you only need a few full-color shirts, DTG is usually the best fit.

Standard turnaround is about 2-3 weeks after the artwork is approved and the deposit is paid. Rush available depending on the schedule. Tell us your date. If you have a hard in-hand date, tell us up front and a person will confirm it before you order.

Screen printing does not carry a setup line. The screens, one per ink color plus one for the white underbase on dark garments, are costed into the per-piece print price, which is why a 2-color design prices higher per piece than a 1-color and why the same design prices lower on a bigger run. We keep your artwork on file, so reorders are quick, and a reorder of the same design carries no setup, so it prices lower again. Embroidery has a one-time $45.00 digitizing fee per design (also saved, so reorders skip it). DTF has a $15.00 per-location setup. DTG has no setup fee at all. Basic art cleanup is included; heavy custom design work is quoted separately.

It depends on your design and quantity. For full-color, photographic, or highly detailed art, DTG is cheaper at almost any quantity because screen printing burns its own screen for every color and that cost rides inside the per-piece price. For simple 1-2 color designs, screen printing becomes cheaper once you pass roughly 50-72 pieces, since its low per-shirt ink cost and its screens spread across more shirts. Rule of thumb: small runs and full-color art favor DTG; large runs of simple designs favor screen printing.
