Built for Restaurants

Challenges We Solve for Food Service

Restaurant uniforms need to look good, feel comfortable, and survive daily abuse. We build our process around those realities.

Commercial Wash Durability

Restaurant uniforms get washed 2-3x per week in commercial machines with hot water and industrial detergent. Our screen prints and embroidery are built to survive hundreds of wash cycles without fading or cracking.

Food Safety & Hygiene

Kitchen staff need clean, fresh uniforms daily. We use stain-resistant fabrics and durable decoration methods that maintain a professional appearance even in demanding kitchen environments.

Professional Appearance

Your staff is the face of your brand. Whether you are a casual taco shop or a fine dining restaurant, we help you create uniforms that match your concept and impress your guests.

High Staff Turnover

Restaurants cycle through staff frequently. We keep your blank styles and logo files on record so reorders for new hires are quick, affordable, and identical to the last batch.

Case Study

How We Uniformed a Multi-Location Restaurant

LA-Area Restaurant Group (3 Locations)

120 staff tees + 45 embroidered polos + 30 chef coats + 60 branded aprons

The Challenge

Three restaurant locations with different concepts but the same parent brand. Needed consistent branding across all locations with role-specific uniforms - and the ability to reorder small batches for new hires monthly.

Our Solution

We created a uniform program: screen printed crew tees in location-specific colors, embroidered polos for managers (same logo, consistent placement), chef coats with name personalization, and branded aprons for all FOH staff. Files stored on record for instant reorders.

The Result

The restaurant group now reorders monthly via a quick email - just sizes and quantities. Turnaround is 5-7 days for replenishment orders. They have expanded to a 4th location and onboarded with uniforms ready on opening day.

Common Questions

Restaurant Uniform FAQ

Answers to the questions we hear most from restaurant owners and managers.

Will the prints survive commercial washing?
Yes. Our screen prints use plastisol inks that are heat-cured into the fabric. They are designed for commercial laundering - hot water, industrial detergent, and tumble drying. Embroidery is even more durable. We guarantee our prints will not crack, peel, or fade under normal commercial wash conditions.
What is the minimum order for restaurant uniforms?
Screen printing minimum is 24 pieces per design. Embroidery minimum is 12 pieces. For small restaurants, DTG printing has no minimum at all. Most restaurant orders are 20-100 pieces with monthly reorders for new hires.
Can you embroider names on individual chef coats?
Absolutely. Personalized name embroidery on chef coats is one of our most popular restaurant services. We charge a small per-name fee and can do names in various fonts and thread colors to match your brand.
Do you stock chef coats and aprons?
We source from all major supplier catalogs including Mercer Culinary, Chef Works, and Uncommon Threads. While we do not stock blanks on-site, we can source and receive most items within 2-3 business days to begin production.
How quickly can you turn around a restaurant uniform order?
Turnaround depends on order size, decoration method, and our current production schedule - most jobs run on a 1-3 week timeline. Existing clients with files on record typically ship faster on replenishment orders. Rush production may be available case-by-case; surcharges are quoted per project.
Can you print on dark-colored shirts?
Yes. Screen printing on dark garments uses an underbase (white layer beneath the colors) for vibrant, opaque prints. This is standard for restaurant tees, which are often black or dark colors to hide stains.
Do you create merch that restaurants can sell to customers?
Yes, many of our restaurant clients sell branded tees, hoodies, hats, and tote bags. This is great for breweries, taco shops, and popular eateries. We can advise on retail pricing and help you choose blanks that customers love.
What fabrics work best for kitchen environments?
For kitchens, we recommend poly-cotton blends (65/35) for wrinkle resistance and durability. Dickies and Red Kap work shirts are industry standards. For front-of-house, 100% cotton or ring-spun cotton tees and polos work great.
Can you make our uniforms match our restaurant brand colors exactly?
Yes. We Pantone-match ink and thread colors to your brand. If you provide your brand colors (or even a photo of your signage), we will match them precisely across all garments and decoration methods.
Are you near the LA restaurant scene?
We are in Santa Fe Springs, CA - right in the middle of LA County. We serve restaurants across Los Angeles, Orange County, Long Beach, Pasadena, and the Inland Empire. Free local delivery on orders over $500.
