The 32-singles combed ring-spun surface is smooth, which is exactly what fine screen print detail and DTG need. Halftones, thin lines, and photo-style prints that break up on a coarse open-end tee hold together on a 3001.
It is also the tee your customers already own: the retail fit and hand feel read as "brand merch", not "free event shirt", which is why clothing lines and startups standardize on it.
Decoration
Which Decoration Method Works Best on the Bella+Canvas 3001?
Screen printing
The go-to from 24 pieces up. The smooth face takes fine detail and soft-hand water-based prints beautifully; solid colors are 100% cotton, so discharge is on the table for dark shirts too.
DTG
The 3001 is the industry-standard DTG blank. Combed ring-spun cotton gives the cleanest full-color prints, and with no minimum on DTG it is the natural choice for samples and short runs.
Watch out for
Heather colorways carry polyester, so they will not discharge and DTG prints slightly more muted on them. If you need a heather look with a bright print, ask us to quote an underbased plastisol print instead.
