The Gildan 2400 is the long sleeve version of the 2000 Ultra Cotton: a 6 oz cotton long sleeve with rib cuffs. It is the long sleeve we print most for work crews, cooler-weather events and sleeve-print merch.
The Gildan 2400 blank runs $10.66 per piece through our live S&S Activewear catalog at our standard markup, before decoration. Screen printing starts at 36 pieces (about $7.73 per piece for a 1-color print at 36 pieces), DTG has no minimum, and every order includes a free digital proof.

Long sleeves open up the sleeve as a print location: a vertical wordmark down one arm is one of the most requested merch looks, and the 2400's heavier cotton keeps it from twisting.
For outdoor crews the 6 oz cotton adds sun coverage and durability, and the color range includes safety colors; Gildan lists Safety Green as compliant with ANSI/ISEA 107 high-visibility standards.

Which Decoration Method Works Best on the Gildan 2400?
Screen printing
Front, back and long sleeve prints all run on press. Bold spot-color designs print opaque and durable on the cotton.
Embroidery
The 6 oz cotton carries a left-chest logo cleanly, a common pairing with a printed back on work shirts.
Watch out for
Each extra location (like a sleeve) adds to the decoration price, which the calculator shows per location. Dark Heather, Sport Grey and safety colors contain polyester and will not discharge.

Screen setup is built into the per-piece price: one screen per ink color, plus one more for the white underbase on dark garments, spread across your run, so there is no separate setup line. More colors mean more screens, which is why color count moves the per-piece price and why the same design prices lower on a bigger run. Runs of 24 pieces or fewer also carry film and press setup, included the same way. We keep your artwork on file, so reorders are quick, and a repeat of the same design carries no setup, so it prices lower per piece.
Range shown is a 1-color to 3-color print, one location, with the screens already included. Each additional location is priced separately.
