Gildan rebuilt the DryBlend line with finer yarns and MVS Air spinning, which it says reduces pilling and gives a smoother printing surface. In practice that means a blend tee that still looks presentable after a season of wear.
The blend is lighter on the skin in heat and dries faster than heavy cotton, which is why outdoor crews, summer camps and athletic programs reach for it. Gildan lists its Safety Green as compliant with ANSI/ISEA 107 high-visibility standards (US).

Which Decoration Method Works Best on the Gildan 8000?
Screen printing
The right method for the 8000. Plastisol prints bold and durable on the blend, and it handles multi-color team and event graphics well.
DTG
Not our recommendation on a 50/50 blend: DTG inks bond to cotton, so full-color prints come out muted. Use a 100% cotton blank if you want DTG.
Watch out for
Polyester content rules out discharge and water-based soft prints. For a soft vintage hand, choose a 100% cotton blank like the Gildan 64000 or Bella+Canvas 3001.

Screen setup is built into the per-piece price: one screen per ink color, plus one more for the white underbase on dark garments, spread across your run, so there is no separate setup line. More colors mean more screens, which is why color count moves the per-piece price and why the same design prices lower on a bigger run. Runs of 24 pieces or fewer also carry film and press setup, included the same way. We keep your artwork on file, so reorders are quick, and a repeat of the same design carries no setup, so it prices lower per piece.
Range shown is a 1-color to 3-color print, one location, with the screens already included. Each additional location is priced separately.
